Marvel Movies and why its important to keep it going

I think the interesting thing about it…is simple… within the MCU… no female lead has had big success, with Captain Marvel (The 1st) 153 million and Black Widow (78Million with 60+ in Covid Sales via Disney+) I don’t think people support female leads in my opinion, so that’s always strike 1.

I also think these movies have to come out and be told…because if we just bank on the expected sales of The Xmen, Fantastic Four, we are not open minded to the smaller, and needed stories to be told….aka the Marvels, and other Disney + shows, and Chang-Chi. Now don’t get me wrong…. some of their stories suck…. go see SheHulk, or Secret Invasion, some of those was not a fav of mines, even the recent Thor sucked in my opinion, and some of these other shows can grow on you aka Ms. Marvel did….but the story has to be told…. I feel like if they didn’t try, we wouldn’t have gotten 2 great seasons from Loki….and some great possibilities from other brands like Daredevil, Echo, and others coming soon. We have to be patient…. everyone is expecting it to be like it was 10-15 years ago, and its not…. we didn’t know what it would turn out to be, because the newness of these films. Then it became bigger than anyone could ever dream of. Childhood revisited for some of us, and it was glorious to see. Now we have a lull until the X-Men come, or the Fantastic Four will come. Not every comic book brand was a must buy, same with this move genre….not every movie is going Win. ☺
